Re: Will Jason Campbell return?

Bottomline, this guy is a former 1st round pick, got paid 1st round money and has yet to show Washington a return on their investment. He has one of the top Backs in the league in CP, a very good TE in Cooley and a good WR in Moss.

players change OC's and even teams each year and have good seasons so enough of that excuse.

and he performed very well in the first part of the season...then the key to any offense, the OL fell apart and we faced some damn good defenses. Didn't CP's production fall off drastically in the second half? As far as money, JC is a value for us in his cap number right now. Also, let's not kid ourselves, our WR corps is not top flight. Moss is a smallish, speed WR. Outside of him what did we have last year.

Which brings me to my next point....

Jason better dig down and find something deep within himself to improve upon. Because i wouldn't count on Derrick Dockery shoring up all of our OL problems. And i certainly wouldnt count on Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly taking a step forward. They may..but i wouldn't count on it. Not if my job depended on it.

How many plays does a QB get in a game....about 60, times 16 games...that's about 960 plays in a year. And we hear about 1 being a problem. JC is not the first QB to call his own play in the huddle.

So what if the OL struggles this year and Thomas/Kelly don't step up.....do we fire the QB too? JC isn't Colt Brennan, who can block for himself and catch his own passes.

We will let him go without resigning him because without those tools, he will not improve.

Nice Colt name drop. Colt is the best thing since sliced bread and the west coast offense.

What QB would improve with a poor OL?

You've got to be extremely cynical or clueless not to improve improvement from Thomas, Davis and Kelly. We've heard nothing but glowing reports and excitement from everyone surrounding the team about their offseasons. People need a reality check regarding expectations of rookie players and giving up on them so easily. It's madness around here.

Doesn't have a strong arm, can't remember plays, no emotion, etc.

I also hear that:

- his sh** stinks worse than the average chocolate monkey;
- he regularly has breakfest with known Skins hater Peter King;
- he wears "Thomas the Tank Engine" underwear;
- he is actually a cylon;
- at night, when he is all alone (and not banging his beauty queen girlfriend), he wishes he could play for Philadelphia; and
- he doesn't think Art Monk should be in the Hall of Fame.

So the fact that the likes of Payton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Donovan McNabb, and Eli Manning have been in the same offensive system and/or with the same offensive coordinator doesn't mean anything to you? I guess not.

Funny that you are demanding a lot of Jason Campbell, yet you don't demand anything from those around him. You either must really hate Jason Campbell or you are on crack.

Re: Will Jason Campbell return?

Read the entire comment. The OL is more detrimental than the receivers. And no, i don't think the injury prone receivers we drafted in last year's 2nd round are going to be so successfull that Jason is going to improve with them.

And why don't you temper your expectations when all of your sources are on the 'skins payroll.

My little nephew wears his with his JC jersey, so he's in good company
