As a slot WR Randle El would be very solid even though he would probably be the highest paid slot WR in NFL history. I still think Curtis can do more things at WR then Randle El. If we could cut him and not have to take the cap hit id do it in a heartbeat.

Id like Randle El to produce where ever he ends up on the field. But, I think El lacks the ability to go up, get the ball and come down with it. He's not physical enough to play as a number two but with all the back stepping and jukeing he likes to do on punts returns he'd be perfect to run those shorter routes as a number 3 slot receiver.

I would love for Moss and Thomas to start with Kelly as the slot WR. It probably wont happen but I can dream.

Thomas has the skills to be that guy.
Now whether he does it or not is another thing.

I agree. I liked Devin Thomas coming out of the draft and was shocked he slipped as far as he did. Hopefully he can step up and take the #2 spot.

Kelly im more nervous about because of all his injuries. Everyone says he looks good in practice and hopefully this year that will translate into the games.

I agree I think ARE is better to play in the slot. I hope we will use ARE in a wild kat formation in the redzone or maybe short yardage. His ablity to pass the ball can open our offense up and give teams defenses more to prepare for.

I have no problem with giving Randle El a pass every now and then. I hope we dont run the Wildcat though because imo its way overrated and really makes the NFL look retarded. Ive read a couple times that Zorn doesnt like the Wildcat and im oh so happy. The Wildcat had its brief moment in the sun but in all honesty those plays are something any defense should stop. Looking at the stats week by week last year defenses chewed it up as the year went on. If im a defensive coordinator please put your RB or WR at QB as many times as possible. Any offense that doesnt put the ball in the QBs hands every snap to either hand it off or make a play with his arm makes little sense to me.
