When someone calls a QB a streaky passer I have always found that to be a bad thing. Saying McNabb is a streaky passer is kinda perplexing when he has a 82-45-1 career record and has a 194-90 TD-INT ratio in the regular season. McNabb has also led his team to 5 conference championship games and one Super Bowl appearance.

I think McNabb is one of the top QB's in the NFL. I also think when it comes to passing he's streaky. He's hot and cold. I think most would agree w/ that statement. I don't think that's a bad thing. I think he's always been that way as a pure passer.

And I wasn't comparing Manning to Bradshaw, I just used Bradshaw as an example that he was never really a great passer, he was just great when his team really needed him to be. But I never compared the two.
I know you didnt. The post you quoted was the one I was using to compare Eli and Romo to another poster. I was just referring to why I brought out those stats.

As for Bradshaw I agree he may of never been a great passer so I understand why you brought him up to compare. I just didnt think it was the best comparison since Bradshaw really stepped up in big games and Eli overall hasnt. Yes Eli had a solid 2007 playoff run and won the Super Bowl with the Giants. I just think besides the wild card game against the Bucs he really didnt do anything great except play a safer game. Even then if certain defenders caught his wild throws the Giants wouldnt be world champs.

Maybe in some games he has been streaky. To a certain extent all QBs go through certain moments. I just think there is a difference between Elis "streaky" and McNabbs "streaky".

Lets not forget that Eli has been one and done in 3 of his 4 attempts in the playoffs(twice at the hands of the Eagles).
The year before and after their SB run.
`05 vs Panthers 0-24
`06 vs Eagles 17-20
`08 vs Eagles 11-23

...ill go get his reservation for Canton. Im sure that one SB MVP Trophy will negate his 76.1 career QB rating. Because the way you keep hyping him up he must be Canton bound.

Never said one word about HOF, just pointing out facts that others tend to forget.McNabb maybe he will go to the HOF but he has no ring, and well as for Romo............LOL...sorry,Campbell is still young...and as I said I like the kid, just give him an O line.

I think it's a bad thing if you are trying to point out the eliteness of his quarterbacking, but McNabb is a valuable player despite his streakiness.

As is Campbell, just to throw his name in there somehow.
