I can vigorously confirm this.. True story, 10th grade (back in 1986) we got 18 inches of snow from Sunday morning until it stopped about 10pm Sunday night in Schenectady, NY.. 7:30am Monday morning I was walking my cold @ss to school.. I had many a Little League baseball game cancelled well into April because it was snowing outside. The last high school football game I played in was on a Friday night in early November, 2 inches of snow fell during the game. If I ever hear the term "Nor'easter" again I will probably soil myself.
