It's happened to me, and I'm sure anyone here that's spent any significant time at the beach, or in hot weather in general has had it happen to them. He didn't do anything wrong. He was just at a party, doing what people do at parties. Give the guy a break, don't hate on somebody just for the sake of hating on them.

I'm not hating on him just for the sake of hating on him. He's boys with the Maloof brothers and loves to party in Vegas. He's made no secret about liking the booze. Not to mention he just has a punk attitude in general. I don't like the guy and I have my reasons. It's not just for the sake it.

I never said he did anything wrong in this case. I have no issue with guys partying in the offseason. But anyone who thinks he was dehydrated from anything other than drinking heavily is pretty naive.

BTW, I've spent significant time at the beach (and on occasion drinking more than a beer or two at said beach), in the hot sun, and playing sports my whole life, and it's never really happened to me. Maybe to some degree, but not to the point where I've passed out and/or needed to be taken to the hospital. Shockey is a pro athlete and he played his college ball in Miami, one of the hottest college FB environments in the country. He knows damn well how to stay hydrated. Come on.
