Ever think it might be a two way street? We've had JC for what 5 yrs now and he has not stood out. All he has shown was that he was average at best all the way up to the beginning of last season. He shined for 8 games then bombed. I'm sure other reasons were a factor but all said and done I'm betting DS was already tired of waiting for JC to make a mark.

Last season's first 8 games was nice but again it took him 5 yrs. I totally understand the changing of offenses, the O-line never giving him time and so on. I like JC and hope he plays lights out this yr and he gets resigned. I just get the feeling DS is either done with JC or mentally has moved on.

5 years. 3 years. 8 years. What's the difference really?

I mean, we might be good this year, but we also might be good in 2014. No difference really.
