It doesn't look good for JJ at T at this point, but it could come down to health. I won't be surprised if he does or doesn't make the roster, but I will be very surprised if he starts over a healthy Cherilos or Foster.
Cherilus should win the job but I wouldnt be shocked if Jansen beat him out. I never underestimate a man on a mission. Jansen wants to prove everyone wrong and it wouldnt shock me if with a new team he does just that.

My bet is Jansen will have a hard time making any NFL team besides the Redskins. Even the Lions.

Maybe. Im pretty sure though he is solid depth at the very least for the Lions. I think if he signs he will easily make the roster for the regular season. If he was playing in DC for the vet min he would still be on the team imo.

I'd take that bet. Jansen is better than people think. If he's actually healthy, he will do well in Detroit. He's not going to perform to an all pro caliber lineman, but he will do well.

Jansen was dynamite for the first few years he was here, but once the injuries started, he got average real quick. So let's not get carried away with the guy.

He'll be making presence known on the sidelines in Detroit.
