Any word on the Red Snapper's rating? LOL.

On a separate note...

Quote:
Specifically, DeAngelo Hall ended the drill with an interception, and the defensive line seemed to be running past the offensive line more or less at will. (Which, to be fair, is roughly what you'd expect from last year's #4 defense after the offseason additions.) And, because the two-minute defense is conducted largely from the nickel formation, that defensive line included rookie Brian Orakpo.
It looks like Orakpo lined up at DE (?) during this drill? Does anyone have video of this, I'd like to see this drill.

They bumped it up a point from last year, and he has a 100 overall Morale rating...YAY!

With all the talk about Hixon I clicked the link here to see how long he has been with the team and found this. Look at how much Joe Bugel and Bobby Crumpler look like each other. Washington Redskins Head Coach - Click on assistant coaches

Re: Redskins June 2009 OTAs

I finally have found a WR giving props to WR coach Hixon; I can finally rest assured he is the best out there.

From On The Field For OTAs - 6/10 fomer practice squad wide receiver Marques Hagans is quoted as saying:

Quote:
"I think right now," he said, "the main thing is trying to learn the offense and at the same time just try to focus on my game, on getting better every day. [Wide receiver coach Stan Hixon] is a good teacher of the offense, and I think with the group of guys that we've got, we've got good leadership -- and good competition as well, because there's a lot of talent out here. So I just try to stay on my game every day."

Nice to see Kevin Barnes balling. 2 INTs today. I could seriously see Smoot being our 4th CB this year behind Barnes.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Barnes was a nice pick in the 3rd for the Skins.

On a related note, I hear Robert Thomas has been pretty impressive as well at the OTAs

Yeah, been reading that as well.

Of course it won't be too long until we start saying bye bye to some guys, that's always tough, those one or two guys that you hoped would stick.

Where'd you read it? I haven't seen anything written, would love to see what's being said

Either that or our QB sitting on the bench.

I noticed in the comment section on Terl's blog, he mentions that his interview with Stan Hixon will be posted tomorrow. That should be a pretty good read. His interviews with the assistants have been solid.

cool, I missed that note. I have been looking forward to it. I am not a Hixon hater, I just would like to hear something from him or about him by the players/coaches that inspires confidence in him.
