BleedBurgundy -- Take the position! Your standard of living may drop, slightly. But the future with a position like that seems great.
People saying a house in Reston going for 1mil is way too high. You can get a nice single family home for 200-300K. My roommate has been trying to buy for some time so far. Finding a house in this area is the hard part. Every property she's bidding on has had 20 or so offers. Also, people are offering cash, which is hard to beat with a loan. You may have to rent, but it's really not THAT bad.
