I hear Newman was also beat by their late round pick M.Johnson from OU in OTA's.

So you think Marko Mitchell and Shelton are competing for the 6th spot, with Roydell being #5? Your wording was a bit confusing.

Yeah. That's what I'm thinking. I just re-read that and couldn't tell what I was writing.

I can't do this sober anymore.

I definitely hope he can stay with the organization in some capacity. He is an intelligent guy and someone players and coaches respect. Thrash is a TRUE Redskin.

Buddy I know James was a great guy and great locker room player but his numbers never did anything for you guys and that's all I'm trying to state.... Thrash could be a heck of a guy but he never turned your team into a NFC East contender.. Sorry Man

U may be right about Thrash, he's not exactly great WR or game-changing player.. Regardless, If I was a coach, I would definitely lock a spot on roster list just for him or any guy like him.. He is a perfect role model for young football players; he did everything what coaches asked him to do without any hint of complaint (or he didn't show it all).. Beside he was great on special teams..

I loved the way Thrash played, but it was time for him to hang it up. but really, he was and is a true gentleman. We will miss him as the Redskins move on.

I didn't mean that we should continue to keep him on roster list, if u thought I meant that.. All I was trying to explain this cowgirl fan that Thrash was worthy of a spot on roster list.. What the cowgirl fan stated, as if he thinks that Thrash should have been out of league a while ago..

Re: Updated: Redskins Release James Thrash

dude you put one video together like he has a whole closet full of highlight reels? Again James Trash was a great locker room player , team player what ever you want to call him. He did nothing to help you guys win a division title or win a playoff game. Look my team has'nt won a playoff game since 96 or somewher around there so we are lacking too. I'm just stating that I want guys on my team who are going to take our team to the Super Bowl and Win. Thrash was not that player, and he needed to hang the shoes up since he just another wasted paycheck that Daniel Synder had last year. Synder is awesome at throwing away money to Vetrans who never produce for you guys? Zach Thomas was a bust for us, Zach Talyor was another bust for you guys a well....
