Really? Favre has totally crapped all over his reputation the past few offseasons with his shenanigans. To say that everyone loves him and he's always given a pass is so 2006.

I agree with 53fan, GTripp's take is pretty accurate about JC's statement about race and the QB position. I think his frustration with the Skins QB drama this off-season is manifesting itself. I don't agree with him, but I'm certainly not going to fault him for it.

Bottom line is he knows he's at a crossroads. His play this year will determine if he's a top half starting QB for the next 5-7 years and signs a contract with a $ 20+ million bonus or if he's going to be a career back-up competing for a job year-in, year-out. Unfortunately for him, football is the ultimate team sport and he can only control so much.
