I grew up just outside of that area, and Shenandoah High (where Biden spoke) was in the high school athletic conference my high school was in. At least in the 1980's, Shenandoah was the beast of the conference. During my senior year, they beat us 40-0 in football. Of course, we only won 1 single game that year, so the score said as much about us as it did about them.
