For 10 months work, Vick's lawyers are billing him for 8000 hours. Now, simple math - 10 months @ 30 days/month and 24 hours/day = 7200 hours.

Even with multiple lawyers working on the case, this is insane to me. Billing 8000 hours over a 7200 hour period takes some creative billing AND reminds me of a joke:

An attorney suddenly drops dead of a heart attack. He gets to heaven and complains to St. Peter - "I was in the peak of health. I exercised daily, watched my diet and saw my doctor regularly. Jeez - I was only 45!!" To which St. Peter responds: "45?!? According to your billable hours, you were 82."
