The cop was looking at two men and at the time only knew there was a report of two men breaking into a home. He asked them to step out side for his protection and thats when Gates got offended. From there Gates got hi attitude going and would not listen to the cop and through out the race card. All he had to do was to go outside on the deck (two of them one cop) and then they could have resolved the issue. Both parties could have done things different but saying its all on the cop is just not fair.
