The Chevy Volt Gets 230 mpg? Only if you use bad math. : Good Math, Bad Math To quote the author, "The honest way to describe it is to say "Up to 40 miles without consuming gas, and then 50 miles per gallon". The Volt is a great idea, and so is all of the electric cars by Coda, Chrysler and Nissan. All we hear about is the Volt and Tesla though. There will be options. __________________ No pressure, no diamonds.
