yeah, I was thinking about the timing if that is Vick's first game. In DC (well, close enough). That might be the only game where peta folks are redskins fans! I can imagine the noise when he takes the field, probably just what we need.

I don't look at this as having anything to do w/their D slipping a little. I look at this in 2 ways:
1) they may be legitimately grooming him as a backup to DM, who is older & is at least a little injury prone.
2) They are undergoing the second coming of the TO experiment; i.e. they believe they are "1 player away" & are willing to deal w/the distraction.
