I think Gostkowski is as good as anyone in the league. Maybe not better than 4-5 other guys.

The problem is that Vinatieri's rep got so enormous that be became more than a kicker in the minds of many, which he never was. He was just an accurate, dependable kicker with questionable distance on his kickoffs. Gostkowski is the same deal, but with better distance on his kickoffs.
