Re: I Was impressed!!!
Well, first of all, there were only 3 QB's who had a better QB rating in the postseason than Jason had in the reg. season. (PManning, Roethlisberger, Warner). That's not much of an apples-to-apples comparison though, because almost every QB in the playoffs had better regular season stats than in the playoffs (for obvious reasons).
But here's the list of QB's in the playoffs last season whose *regular season* QB rating ranked below Jason Campbell: * Ben Roethisberger * Joe Flacco * Kerry Collins * Tavaris Jackson * Byron Leftwich (edited, can't believe I wrote Garrard, guess it was late) QB's in the playoffs last season whose regular season QB rating were 5 points higher (or less) than Jason Campbell: * Eli Manning * Donovan McNabb * Matt Ryan * Jake Delhomme That leaves only 5 QB's in the playoffs last season whose regular season QB rating was appreciably better than Jason Campbell: * Philip Rivers * P. Manning * Chad Pennington * Warner * Brees

Jaguars went 5-11 last year lol... You cant tell me that Campbell is better than Ben Roethlisberger, theres no way anyone in their right mind will co-sign that statement as for Flacco and Collins thats a toss up with Campbell (I'd prefer Flacco personally) I argue the only qb "far worse" than Campbell in the playoffs as you put it, was Jackson...and he wouldnt be there without the o line and d line and Peterson. |

I'd say its a toss up between Campbell and Delhomme...although Delhomme had one of the worst playoff games in history last year |

Re: I Was impressed!!!
I just think "far worse" can only be reserved for Tavaris Jackson...those other dudes (Collins, Delhomme, Flacco) are on Campbells level or better in my opinon

That said, I think Jason is going to take a big stride this season. Playing with essentially the same group of receivers, in the same system, I could see him putting up some gaudy numbers and leading this team to 10+ wins. It's true, I might be drinking the Kool-Aid, but I think this team has the potential to be as good as any in the league this season. |

Re: I Was impressed!!!
Sleep deprivation. I used NFL.com stats for 2008 playoffs and when my brain saw "Byron Leftwich" (throwing a few balls for PIT) I guess I just wrote Garrard. Doh.
