The Redskins want Jason to step it up. Before Jason calls anyone out he needs to check himself first. He needs to work on his accuracy first and foremost.

Partly agreed, though JC's been slinging the ball around fairly well. There isnt a throw that the guy cant make, the one to ARE was on the money. Hopefully they both step up, and we can all be happy.

I just do not like Devin Thomas, the person/player at this point...

I have heard WAY too much about his personality faults/over-inflated ego and lack of focus & work ethic.

Marko Mitchell is next to pass DT on the WR list... so what happens when DT is the #5 receiver? Could hear a "story" coming from him this season if so...

This is why I wanted Jordy Nelson. He's a hard worker and he outproduced Thomas in his senior year of college by about 400 yards. Then he went on to gain over 300 yards last year through the air. Hell he even outproduced him this preseason on one play. In retrospect it would have been nice to pair him off with Kelly and Mitchell. Then all of our young receivers would be tall guys that can step up and make plays.

Well a big part of what they wanted Campbell to "step up" was his leadership, his "fire" and ability to speak up when needed.

I'm disappointed with DT. All I read about him in the offseason and during OTA's was how he's gotten the playbook down pat and had really improved his work ethic/preparation. Before training camp, I thought Devin would surely win the #2. If he's not careful he may end up the #5.

Yep...I have no problem w/ JC calling out a guy to step it up (on the offensive side of the ball). Thomas may be a guy he needs a lot of "coaching" not just in the sense of actual instruction but extra encouragement and kind of saying "look you have to make a difference for us here." Some will say that shows a lack of maturity...don't forget he's still a kid, like most of the ballers out there. I like was Jason is doing and I tend to think it pays dividends down the road.

Jason Campbell had a 62.3% accuracy percentage last season that was better than all the other quarterbacks in the NFC East. His accuracy is not what he needs to work on, he needs to work on going through his reads and taking more risks.

Yeah that 62.3% comes from check downs mostly. Half of Santana's passes were screens or 4 yard hitches. When he gets that percentage while attacking the defenses then I will leave him alone. The kid needs to work on his accuracy along with his reads as well. Don't come at me like he's a very accurate quarterback of which he is not.

JC has been a fairly accurate passer going all the way back to Auburn, when he completed nearly 70% of his passes as a junior.

Please update your understanding of Campbell's skills.

I have watched plenty of Campbell's games throughout his career with us and he does not have the accuracy on the short to intermediate passes let alone the deep passes. How many times have we seen him throw high to Moss on a 5-yard curl route or a slant route. His screen passes are even worse. Why is it that we call a screen pass to our receivers or backs only to see the ball go up high and our receivers not having enough time to gather themselves to move forward. He needs to work on his accuracy asap.
And you don't see the self-contradiction in you logic? I have seen him complete many difficult passes. 62% is 62% no matter how you cut it.

You are right JC and the Skins are going all the way. Some teams wished they had a QB who completed 62% of their passes.
