Good question. I'm just a sucker for pain I guess? It will not be too long before I go to another team, perhaps next year? What will probably happen is Zorn and Soup will get sacked and I'll get sucked into the whole new coach and QB thing. Again, I'm probably just a sucker for pain. It doesn't sting as much as it used to though. It's like Dale JR fans. They know their boy stinks but they're still behind him.

Question is if they don't kick them to the curb... Do you stay?

Good question. As much as I complain I probably will. Screw it. It's not the end of the world. This morning when I got up I said to myself, "Self, if the biggest problem you have in life is a garbage football team, you're living a charmed life". I try to be optimistic. There is nothing good about a loss. No sir, nothing.

In the game of Ham & Eggs, the chicken plays a part but the hog is committed. The way I see it, these boys are playing like chickens not hogs.

Well calling them assholes is stupid. It sounds like you've got issues. No one is telling you to spend your money going to games. That's your fault.

The gameday threads are insanity.

"OH WE SUCK!"

"WOW, WHAT A PLAY!"

"WHY?"

"YESSSSSSSSS!"

I never read or post in them during games, they're just crazy. I always go back and read the entire thread the day after. I always get plenty of laughs.

Its fun to scan through the game day thread to see how at one point people are calling some one a peice of $hit then they make a big play and the same person is then talking about how great the player is.

the bottomline is that posting is an outlet. who needs an outlet? those that are optimistic and those that are pessimistic. Like everyone else, I consider myself to be a realist, yet I'm sure people disagree with my assessment. Opinions are subjective by definition. Boards are made up of opinions. Such is life.

There is little need to panic on the season, we should win the next several games. We did not look good- hall played horribly, so did smoot. Jason made some mental errors and we are relying pretty heavy on gadgetry. We lost to a better team.

The above offensive post was thankfully edited out, so this post is now useless, so I'll also edit it out.

I guess the word "suck" has been used so much lately that the site was flagged as a place where such spam would be welcome.

The shit always hits the fan after a loss, after a win it's much more calm. Hopefully the next 5 weeks or so will be Zen-like around here.

Re: I love this board in the off season.....but

This isn't ES where people start a thread about almost everything imaginable. I don't think I could stand ES after being here. I have been on forums that are like ES and the clutter is almost unbearable. Last week there was one day where 5 pages of new threads were made, some of them triple duplicates. Anyway so long as the mods walk around quietly with a giant death ray the rest of us should be ok.

Re: I love this board in the off season.....but

I hate a loss as much as the next guy. My family moved to NOVA in 1976 and I have been a fan ever since. Thats 33 seasons now. there have been good ones and bad ones. I like the good ones and hate the bad ones.

reality is 32 teams played in week one that means more than likely 16 teams are gonna lose, half the league is in the same boat we are...
