However, his final drive, completing 5 for 6 for 66 yards, including a 17-yard score to Chris Cooley, raised, or padded, his quarterback rating to 93.6.
Why did he only have 145 yards with 3:12 to play? Because he was dinking and dunking and only completing 4 yard passes? Nope. Because he was only completing 50% of his passes? Nope. Because we weren't sustaining drives and we were calling a lot of runs? Yup.

Campbell surely is to blame for much of our struggles on offense. Campbell didn't get the ball out quickly enough, he failed to step up into the pocket on the sack-strip-TD, and he probably didn't take enough chances. However, I felt our passing game was moderately successful between the 20s. I wanted to see us let Campbell throw more, not less passes.

I totally agree. I don't think we were dominated. I just think we didn't come to play. I think that all the talk about Jacobs made us focus on him and not the offense as a whole. HE is the only one we stopped.

I think the Giants next game will gauge how good they are and ours will also. But we have to respect the fact that NY has the best D-Line in the league.

Saying that..If we hadn't turned the ball over and made stupid penalties, as well as poor time management near the end of the game, we probably could have pull this game out some how even though we played poorly.

Just something to ponder.

I totally agree. I haven't posted anything lately but have read all these comments about the giants being way better talent-wise or being outclassed and I just don't see it. The giants got one td on a crappy screen pass that we missed like 3 or 4 tackles on, very simple tackles, and osi got a fumble for td on just a crappy play by us. We played pretty bad on offense yet we were still in the game the whole time. The giants were not good, we were just worse on the day. I could definitely see the giants finishing last in the division.

You are kidding right? The Giants finish last in the division. They are a real contender to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

We have a mid-tier defense right now, and they were one awful defensive play away from being held completely out of the end zone by us. They couldn't move our DL off the ball to save their lives.

I think the Giants have more to be concerned about than we do. We have to learn how to use our personnel to the best of it's ability to be successful. They have to learn how to move the ball a god damn yard on third and one.

I suspect they will figure out how to get that yard a lot faster than the Skins figure out how to get their personnel to play like they care.

Do not understand it either . There seems to be alot of excuses out there for a lack luster preformance. Giants just looked a little faster and the Skin's played in Sloooooow motion.

Did anyone look at Zorn on the sidelines he looked like a defeated man in the 2nd quater.

I didn't see "defeated." I saw Zorn looking downright angry. He was also shown chewing folks out in his anger. He had the same MO last year. As much as I like Zorn, I think this is a major failing of his. I don't think that players respond well to his public anger. If he wants to get angry, he has plenty of time to do so behind closed doors.

You like Zorn and Campbell? Wow... I saw defeat not anger in Zorn. But you are a fan of both so you will find excuses. J.Campbell gave up an interception and Zorn stands there basically consoling Campbel. That mentality is why Skin's will go 8-8 at best and Zorn and Campbell will be out of jobs and no NFL team wants Campbell.... Maybe he should get a bus ticket to Canada and play in the CFL or the new league..Cuz he is not NFL material!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Adam Schefter: What's Wrong with the Redskins

The Giants O scored 17 points.....at home....what's the big deal? They are accustomed to putting up much better scores than that
JC did do some stupid rookie moves. Our O line had problems. Our D did not put enough pressure on Manning against.....the best O-line in the league?
Our D DID have several KICK ASS Goal line stands, and WHO did not love Brandon Jacobs running about 140 yards less than the last time we met?
We have work to do.......so what. AT this moment the Bills are beating the PATS
It's a long sesason and a lot of good things are still to come to this team.

Re: Adam Schefter: What's Wrong with the Redskins

I think our O-line did protect Jason most of the day but they did not run block very well except for the first running play. Did anyone remember when Tuck TFL Portis the 1st play after the Hall INT. Heyer blew the block and Tuck came free. O-line struggle to open any holes for the running game.
