A lot of you around here have known I've been planning to propose to my long-time girlfriend for a while. Well, tonight I did, and she said yes!!

One of the best days of my life, and I just wanted to let my little on-line family know about it.

It was a long day- up at 5:30 to catch an early flight out of BWI down to Tampa. Scooped the rental car and headed down to Siesta Key (right off of Sarasota on the gulf coast) where my family has a place right on the water. Here's the view from our balcony-

My in-laws used to have a condo on Siesta...right across from Capt. Curts.

They've sold it and have a place down the road on Casey key now. That is the best area of Florida for chill out vacays.
