Negatives - Moss, I'm starting to think he shouldn't be our number one no more. PLay calling was outright terrible at times. And Randy Thomas is gone for the year. Thats a huge loss for us.
I thought Campbell looked like Campbell. The reason the Skins run plays the way they do is because the coaches know JC is a shakey QB and they dont trust him to get it done.

I think there's something to that, but if he's the guy, they need to find a way to put points on the board. They only need to score 20 a game. I say only, but that looks impossible at this point.

Re: Rams vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

On the 4th down play...a fake run would have made sense, bcause the clock would have stopped anyways.
The ideal play would have been the gibbs call....fake to portis, throw backside to sellers
I agree...red zone play calliing is weak...why not throw it in the zone?

I do like the call to go for it though...gotta go for the win.
Even though the offense played better...it was against the Rams...we still look like a 6-10 team.

Why have 2 TE and huge WRs if we dont use em in the endzone?...or at least try?

I'll be honest with you if that's the case, let it be it. This guy is always hurt (more than Springs ever was). We should have drafted OG, OL,C, but didn't. We should just move on with younger players and get them the experience. If Thomas is out for the year, then he should retire.

Sonny is getting JZ's butt for poor play calling on 980am
to his credit, JZ said "it is all on me" "I have to figure it out"

Re: Rams vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

Only thing that will save us next week vs the Lions is Stafford liking to force the ball like a typcial rook and the Lions are penalty prone like we are. I was looking forward to a Skins win at Ford Field, but now that is in doubt. Two games and only one offensive TD. JC is doing fine, but when your TE is going to again be the leading receiver you are in trouble. Kelly is progressing nicely, but still he isn't fantasy football caliber either. Moss should be let go once his contract expires. We need big and tall WRs, not smurfs.

Re: Rams vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

Tired of hearing Zorn say Defenses are taking away the outside WR. The Rams shouldn't be able to take anything away. Every good WR and RB is keyed on and they still find a way to produce. Weak excuse.

I agree, can't tell me a shitty defensive team like the Rams can tak our Wr corp out of the game.
