Well a rebuilding mode team hung toe to toe with us. As for the Jets, I do believe they started new this yr no different then Atlanta did last yr. Maybe we should be thinking Rebuild mode cause we played like a team that is. I also don't know how you say the Jets are a team on the rise? They hired a new HC cause they didn't like what they had. I truly hope this team can turn this around and make me look stupid cause I think we all want the Skins to do great things but if the season is no different then last I'll keep saying they should look into rebuilding the team. If they could get rid of all the old dead weight on the team do it. Get younger, faster, and healthier across the board. |

Our problem is what has been already touched upon in numerous posts on numerous threads, and that is we do not have the personnel for the running of a WCO offense. Some newbie in the preseason started that thread on Zorn needing to get "his" QB for his system. Most folks nailed him wrongfully for coming off as being a JC hater. I think the guy had a legit point though. Moss and ARE were acquired for the Gibbs offense as was Lloyd. Rod Gardner was a Spurrier guy. JC was drafted for the Gibbs offense as well. Basically it is like trying to fit square blocks into round holes. That is one of the main reasons our Wr corp sucks so bad now. |

Re: Rams vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
True, his playcalling and time management are also baffling, but our execution has a lot to be desired as well, especailly from the WRs. Moss and ARE need to be let go and not resigned. But yeah, Zorn looks to be in over his head. |
