You know it is ok to see other teams with problems similar to the Redskins.

TD Giants!! (Their D is in my FF team)
Ummm, yes I do. The quicker a team can move the ball down the field, the more possessions they are likely to have in the game and consequently, the more opportunities to score. And unless the Giants go without a TD the entire game, they don't have the same problems as the Skins. If they do, then yes, they also suck in the red zone. Every team kicks field goals, but not every team kicks nothing BUT field goals against a team that won 2 games last year and was shut out the week before.

It's OK to be a dumbass.

Wow, Pierce read that play and got his boy an INT for TD...shitty throw by Romo...very very nice.

Dude, no need for namecalling alright?

Besides the Giants had one long TD but had three RZ trips end up with 2 FGs. I know ur pissed about today's game but don't act that we're the ONLY team that has these problems or that scored just 3 FGs (like one NE Patriots)

See the Giants are once again in the RZ and could be coming away with a FG after getting good field position (and they did).

The difference between us and the Giants it seems is that their defense scores and ours hasn't. So that's two RZ trips and two field goals. So much for deep passes huh?

Right, but the point of the game isn't to score a ton of points, it's to win. The drive frequency greatly affects PPG totals, but I think we've already established that PPG is a stupid way to think about the quality of an offensive or defensive unit.

We'd all like to see a higher TD conversion rate in the red zone, especially if you get inside the 10, but ultimately, it just seems to come down to wasted plays, mistakes, and luck. It's not a talent issue, it's part problem with Zorn's approach, and part just having a running game that fails to move the ball once it gets close to the end zone.

Maybe it goes back to our WR Coach Stan "The Man" Hixon but why do other teams WR's look so smooth running routes and catching balls and seem to know when to come back to the ball and yet the Skins WR's always look like they are struggling to do anything.

If you notice JC has a hard time hitting guys in stride with any sort of regularity.

Dude, that should be a TD. F that.

Ugh, well maybe the Giants will do better with their RZ offense (since we're the only team that has problems in the RZ apparently)

Philips was robbed of 6 points. Whistle or not, he'd have scored.
