Dude, Zorn threw a sideline fit in the Rams game. He got pissy on the sidelines in the Giants game. He exploded on the sidelines in last year's Detroit game. And these were just the outbursts that I and the cameras happened to catch. If he's doing that in public, imagine what goes on behind closed doors. I really don't think that he holds back negative emotions. He just tries to be nice in the presence of media.

If he is in danger of losing the locker room, to get really angry at players in front of the press would be the final nail in that coffin.

Re: Notes from Zorn's Press Conference (Sept. 28)

Right now, I'm just trying to stay medium until Zorn is gone. For me, this press conference simply reinforces my notion that Zorn is totally clueless.

I swear, Snyder and Cerrato are actually making worse coaching decisions as time goes on. Spurrier at least had an excellent track record as a college coach but Zorn did not have the background to be hired as a Head Coach. Zorn's failure was and is predictable.

I'd like to think that when Zorn is fired and a new Head Coach is hired things will improve but how can I when I look at the record of the people who will be making the hiring decision?

-In the big picture, things are progressing, we're getting better. It's not showing in the wins. There are high expectations for us. We have high expectations for us

-I don't look back at last year. 2008 is gone. I'm only dealing with 2009

-We have excellent men, great captains in the locker room. Captains are doing a great job keeping our guys together

-Last play, we ran a play that gave us the opportunity to maybe pitch, catch and get in running (???)

-Chad did a nice job in the run game, decent in the passing game, didn't affect my play calling at all

-Malcolm has to improve his playing speed

-We have tremendous talent on this football team and we as coaches have to put the players in the right position and the players have to go out and make the play

***So basically, nothing we didn't really expect him to say***
I knew that last play was called by Zorn i told several of you that it wasn't JC's fault for not throwing it in the endzone damn our play calling sucks!!!

Re: Notes from Zorn's Press Conference (Sept. 28)

I'm not ready to say Zorn has to go. I certainly believe he should get the rest of the year AT LEASt unless this team falls completely apart.

At the same time, dating back to last year when CP threw him under the bus, Zorn has never seemed in control of the team, doesn't seem very stately, like a man in charge should. It could simply be his personality, or it could be the result of Danny's pressure on him. Either way, it doesn't look good from here out, even though the passing game has improved quite a bit.

Here is an interesting article reflecting the theme of Zorn's presser in contrast to the statements of the players. It's not breaking new ground, but I thought it was a very well written piece of analysis:
