Thomas probably should have been passed over just because of where he went to school(Michigan St). Michigan St players usually don't make it in the pros. Last guy they had that even made a tiny bit of impact was Lorenzo White and he got stuck in a RB committee in Tennessee. Kelly should have been "vetted" better, as they should not have taken a gamble on him with the bad knee. Why we take gambles on a consistent basis is beyond me, especially when most of them haven't pan out. No matter what happens after this season with regards to Zorn saving his job or packing his bags, we are stuck with 2 busts at WR. Kelly gets somewhat of a pass from missing last season, but Thomas should have improved somewhat.

Plaxico Burress, Andre Rison, and Mussin Mohammed WR went to Michigan ST. they all had nice NFL careers. Burress is in jail not to good for him now.
