They were supposedly shooting for that. It was achieved. I think the plan is to tone it down a little but either way they're going for a pretty authentic comic-book feel.

I was going to tape it but decided against it when I saw it was 2 hrs long,plus I dont care that much for the actor thats his "trainer" or whatever he is

I get that there's a limited budget for special effects on TV, but holy hell, it looked like they never bothered to do a final render on the scenes where the cape was CG'd. I mean it was SyFy movie of the week quality. And this is from someone who loves comic books, sci fi and special effects centric cheese.

and DR, Bob's Burgers grew on me as I watched.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. I kind of see the cheese as it's charm.

Of course, I didn't have any expectations for the show either.

About the only show I like to watch on TV is "Chuck" anyways...

Bob's Burgers... Not bad. Not good. But probably not cancel worthy. I caught it towards the end of the show. I'll probably check it out next Sunday in it's entirety to get a better feel for the show.

I hated Bob's Burgers. It is poorly drawn, I don't like the characters, and it felt like they were saying effed up shit just to say effed up shit. The one thing that I did like is for once the father character is not the dumbass. I will give it a few more episodes to grow on me and allow for character development but right now it isn't looking good.

I can't wait for both of those to start. For any Dexter fans the actress who played crazy super hot arsonist Lila in season 2 will be showing up in the Spartacus prequel that starts on the 21st.
