Just started watching Friday Night Lights with Netflix on a whim mainly because I have a crush on Connie Britton dating back to her days on Spin City. Turns out I may have stumbled onto one of the better shows on TV (the 8.6 user rating on IMDB seems to confirm that).

Also nice to see a portrayal of High School Football using players that actually look like they belong in High School, as opposed to the Hollywood versions where players are all at least 6'1 and growing facial hair.

You're in for a treat my friend. One of the better TV Series I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Great television.

Wait a minute. Why do I get flack for not following a show that aired for 3 seasons on some random DirectTV network because it was facing cancellation and having it's Achilles heel being viewership?

Speaking of cancelled...

That show must've been pretty horrible for it to get cancelled that quick. Can't say I blame the execs though, a show about that doesn't sound appealing at all to me.
