Which is why Mack would have made sense.

Thing is you need to draft a QB, a WR, and one CB also. These newbie Wrs stink.

I agree. We just need to hire a new staff to do the scouting, a new GM to do the drafting and a whole new gaggle of coaches to do the developing. We're so close.

You can have the best scouts in the world but the final decision doesn't lay with them

We are the worst coached team in the NFL, and our QB cannot seem to take charge without pissing his pants during audibles. Sorry fellas I am an official JC hater now. CYA next week. Die hard since 1968.

redskins will finish 5 and 11 if we are lucky...Zorn is out, hopefully Blache is out, Campbell is out, I wish I could say Cerrato and DS are out but they're going to stay...

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

The way Campbell was shuffling around in the pocket multiple times when he had no pressure, fumbling the ball........taking sacks when he shouldn't have, giving up on plays WAY too early and checking down every friggin completion, I just cant believe that there are still supporters in redskin nation out there that thinks we can win with JC at the helm. He is a career backup QB. He has shown me absolutely nothing other than the fact that he can lean on his defense and other players to make plays. And Im sure his receivers get tired of him making his mind up about who he is throwing to before he even snaps the fucking ball. Hes been in the league for what, over 5 years? Cant read a defense to save his life. (Yes, having Zorn and the offensive line he has doesnt help matters any, but that doesnt give him a pass for time after time getting plenty of opportunities to show something people thinks he has, only to be let down.) I mean, Can you get any more AVERAGE than this guy?

And Manning still put up very respectable numbers with a subpar OLine, so does Big Ben, Every week, and Aaron Rodgers line blows goats, but he puts the ball up there and does something with it.

Like Ive said in previous posts, where is this bullshit loyalty coming from for Campbell, anyways? Dont you all as fans want a playmaker, a qb that reads, reacts and makes things happen, other than one that is indecisive and has minimal impacts on games? Dont you want a leader?

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

I don't have a problem with the defense. I just wish they would keep teams in check more. Today I think they played better, but it was against a mediocre team. Offensively everything sucks.

O-line
JC's decision making
WR routes
Sellers blocking
Nothing to Cooley
Play calls
Zorn

All these things are the issues. It's not one thing. People want to point their finger at one thing and say that's it we should have addressed it, but you can't. Collins might make a small difference but not much of one. Sit Sellers and who takes his place? They changed up the O-line due to need with out success. Go ahead and fire Zorn now and you've come to the conclusion that the season is over. Who takes over? Who will be willing to take over. Are you going to let them bring in their own coaching staff? How long will their scheme take to understand? Will Sherm Lewis take over and can he help this team?

There is just a lot of questions if we are going to scrap everything prior to the break. Atleast if you scrap things at the break the new HC has 2 weeks to impliment something. Or tweek what we already have. I feel if DS wants to do something I would look at firing Hixon and bring in an NFL proven WR's coach, speak with Buges as to why the O-line is not getting it done. Is it the blocking scheme, piss poor players, etc. etc. Maybe it's time to let him go and bring in a more WCO knowledgable O-line coach.

I agree that the defense played better, but still giving up a fifteen point lead and allowing 18 points in a quarter and a half is bad. Especially for as good as our D is supposed to be. Carolina made some offensive adjustments and we didn't respond.

UMMMMMMMMMMMMM they were on the field all day, and the points they gave up were because of offense and special teams,,,,,watch the game dude.

I watched it, the same mistakes were committed. Can't stop 3rd down conversions and shitty tackling.

Dont forget that the D did not them once and special teams/ bad ref call gave the ball back to Carolina in the red zone. Hard to come up with back to back stops when the other team starts at the 12.
