It is time for the fire Vinny signs at the stadium. I may come up for a game just so I can raise a fire Vinny sign at the game. It is time. |

Re: Do you expect Zorn to be fired
I think Russ Grimm should be the next head coach, if Zorn is fired. We need a fresh start. Tired of old recycled coaches. We need new front office personnel as well that know what they are doing.

I think Zorn will finish out the season and depending on how the team finishes he might just stay. If they finish 4-12 then he's gone, 8-8 he stays. This team just doesnt have the talent on O so I really dont think any coach could come in here and do much better with what he'd have to work with. |

Re: Do you expect Zorn to be fired
This team has so many areas of dysfunction, firing the coach is just a small beginning to what really needs to be done to get this team back on track. Some players should be looking over their shoulders as well.

Agreed. Bringing in another coach is not going to solve this problem. It is time to clean house in the locker room and in the front office.

Re: Do you expect Zorn to be fired
You know what, I don't even think the question should be surrounding Zorn, when the real problem is the owner and his managing cronies (i.e. Vinnie Cerrato) at the root of the problem. As fans and people who live in this area, there should be some sort of check and balance system for owners who mismanage the area team. It is a disgrace to have such an aweful owner as a representative for this team. A person who creates such a toxic environment and mettles to no end. No one of quality will ever want to coach here as long as he behaves as terribly.
On a personal note, my sister went to school with a niece of Bill Parcells, who said that he was contacted several times by Daniel Snyder back in the early 2000's, around 2002-2003 and she said that he would not touch a team owned by Daniel Snyder with a ten foot pole point blank. Re: Do you expect Zorn to be fired
I certainly would not! Therefore I could not blame anyone who would not coach this team as well.
I just feel sorry for the players and coaches, and I still root for them, because they are still my favorite team! Screw the owner and management.Sorry to be so bitter, just how I feel at the moment and have to blow off some steam. The Danny never learns. Last edited by skinsfan0201; 10-11-2009 at 09:34 PM. I completely am in agreement, though I just had to state the obvious once again.

Re: Do you expect Zorn to be fired
Man, I am just so sick with the situation this team is in. The bad thing is, I am not even surprised. The Redskins are in a no win situation either way. If Zorn stays the whole season, I honestly don't have any faith in him turning things around. If he's fired midway through, we have given up on the season.
The only thing that would make me happy is for Snyder to sell the team and take Vinny with him.

Re: Do you expect Zorn to be fired
yes the firing of zorn would be an admission that the front office made a mistake in hiring him in the first place is snyder willing to admit any of his failings?
