I seem to remember us suffering the same problem last year at the end of the season. We go into this offseason just maintaining our depth (Dockery for Kendall) and make no other additions. We take the luxury of signing one $40M player but don't address our depth needs on the O-Line.
No matter the reason Cooley didn't get a catch today it all comes down to the lack of foresight by our front office to get people in a position for success.

Yep -- O-line depth was an issue around week 8 last year, now it's an issue at week 4.
Not hard to figure out what's happening here.
