Kiper is high on Jake Locker as well

Re: Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
That's him. So if the Skins do decide to go in a different direction next year, they could conceivably have a shot at Clausen AND Locker (probably not Stafford). Could be a year like 2004 when Eli, Rivers and Big Ben went in the first 11 picks. Schaub went 90th overall.
Man, that was a good draft for the Skins... first 3 rounds at least. Sean Taylor with the 5th overall and Cooley in the 3rd. Considering they almost took Kellen Winslow instead of ST, I'd say they did pretty good for themselves.

Locker is the best QB in the Pac-10 this season (Barkley will be next season). Big body, he can pass and run. Got a leadership quality that his teammates believe in. Too bad he was surrounded by such horrible talent his first few seasons.

Re: Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
Ya'know, Locker is athletic enough to play safety in the NFL. I like his tools as a quarterback, but I'm not seeing where someone like Tim Tebow or Colt McCoy is not an NFL caliber passer, but Locker is. All three of those guys could play TE at the next level, but are all very productive college passers as well who could be interesting picks for teams in the first round.
I guess I'm just not seeing what separates Locker from the college athlete-who-happens-to-pass label that costs so many guys shots in the NFL. Of course he can be a quarterback at the next level, but they all can.
