Man I am watching the Pats-Titans game. The Pats are more explosive in 1 half, in snow, than the skins are all year long.

I ask this without any intended irony: What's the benefit of allowing Zorn to coach another game?

None whatsoever...but I'd rather Snyder wait until the end of the season and do a proper coach search.

You know you could see some inherent value in relieving Zorn after the Philly game (bye).

1. Snyder would have to accept that the season is and will be a wash
2. He can name an interim for the remainder of the season.

By doing those 2 things, it will allow Snyder to do a very thorough coaching search over the next 2 or 3 months and name the new head coach on January, and still allow them to get the scouting and draft strategy in place.

That should provide you with the tools to do a proper search.

That makes sense, which leads me to the conclusion that it will not be done. The FO is the effing twighlight zone.

I almost think his termination is necessary to do a proper evaluation of the issues. Outside of the personnel on the OL, I have no idea what changed staring with the Detroit game and has hampered us the last four weeks. And I probably won't until Zorn gets out of the way so I can see what's actually happening.

At least Zorn finally took some blame in the press conference. I guess it took scoring two miserable FGs in a home loss to a winless team for Zorn to realize it's on him.

Well if you are Danny and you fire Zorn now and don't do anything big in the off season you will lose the fans. Plus all the heat is on him and how bad he is as an owner.

However say you let Zorn finish the season, saying that there was no better option or Zorn had too many roles to replace, etc and THEN fire him in the off season and bring in a new coach. Then you make some big free agent pick up. Why then you can tell the fans you made "changers" in the off season. Plus the fans and the media will believe you "won the off season. You know we will buy that shit story again.

Lose fans? We've been waiting 18 years for a winner, we dont mind a couple years of blowing the team up if they do it right.

Re: Redskins vs Chiefs Gameday Thread

What NEEDS to happen is to ditch VC.....TODAY and hire.....NOW a hotshoe GM, and allow him to use this time to evaluate what things (and people) stay and what need to go....now and later. There are numerous capable coaches out there, but a....PRO personnel guy shoud be doing the vetting.

SAD, SAD, SAD, it would seem we go nowhere unless we get Snyder to sell the team. this team is a joke and has been since he bought it. I am goin to play golf instead of watching this joke of a tem next week.
