How many starting RBs are worse than Portis?

It was really apparent in yesterday's game how much lateral quickness he's lost. He has no explosiveness out of his cuts anymore. Yeah he could do well behind a great line but so could most NFL backs. He's just a guy at this point, just one who happens to be making mega millions.

Clinton is a down hill runner now. He is a north and south runner, So I agree with you that he has lost his lateral quickness. But I would still take Portis because he runs hard and blocks well. He also plays through injuires that alot of other backs sit out games with.
