PFT Rumor - Joe Gibbs is Coming Back

Took me a while to get in touch with the person who gave me the lead about 9 months ago that Gibbs and the Redskins might just reunite one of these days. According to that "source":


1. This is NOT a done deal.

2. A similar offer was made to Joe Gibbs in the past and he turned it down because of "three sticking points".

3. Two of the "three sticking points" are still there.


I do not know what the "sticking points" were so obviously I don't know which one of them "disappeared".

The "source" says that there have been direct and specific discussions on the idea of Gibbs comng back to the Redskins - - NOT as head coach - - within the past 10 days.
