Good to see Thomas way more involved. Still wish Mitchell could get in sometime after the bye. Still think JC needs to be benched. His stats will lie this game.

You obviously did not watch the game, he had NO TIME. No QB could play with this line.

Dude, are you going to wait another 3-5 seasons to build a line around this guy? I know he didn't have much time. Did Ramsey have much time? Gibbs benched his ass, didn't he? It is all about mechanics, not the actual play either. Either way he is gone.

What no Gus Frerotte reference???

Our team is not good at grooming young QBs and building lines.

Gus didn't have it, he had a quality line with Lachey, Uhlenhake, etc. Jenkins was a decent TE also. He could win 7-8 games, but couldn't turn it up that one notch that might have made him a franchise type. JC is a better athlete than Gus, but I think he has had some time to work out his mechanics and the consistency needed to be a real franchise guy. The sad condition of the line does play a part in this, but our line wasn't all that bad last year or the year before.

Our line was bad during the second half of last year....and we've always had an old line. Given that we are a "running" team, I think it's been a huge mismanagement of the FO to let our line get old and have such inexperience/mediocre back ups. Historically, our strengths have been running the ball and the defense. If that was our philosophy, then the team should've spent resources on the o-line, just as resources were spent on the d-line.

I thought it was sad and embarrassing when Jaws talked about Mike Williams, that he never panned out in Buf and has been out of football for years.
What a joke. Our FO is a joke.
