Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
In terms of veterans, I like the idea of getting Bulger. He's on a horrible team, but the man has talent.

His age doesn't concern you? Shouldn't we go younger than that?

The way I see it, we have 4 choices, and the 4th option is piss poor. 1- Let Colt have his day. 2- Draft a top notch rookie qb. 3- Sign a veteran qb in a bad situation. 4- Let Campbell stay. I like the idea of letting Colt have a shot, but even if we do that, we need to draft a talented rookie to back him up. My previous post speaks to my like of Colt and getting Bradford or Tebow. I like Bulger because he is someone with top notch talent and a piss poor team...worse than ours. If anyone needs a change of scenary, it's Bulger. Bulger would be my 3rd option behind Colt and a rookie QB. Who knows, we might be able to trade Campbell for Bulger straight up. Although, no one is really high on Campbell's ability. Both Steve Young and Jaws completely BLASTED Campbell's ability, and I have not heard a single knowledgable NFL ex player or GM, or coach that speaks highly of Campbell.

We'd still have to fix the obvious issues with the offense before you could sap one ounce of Bulgers talent, and at that point, you're still not getting anything you wouldn't have with Campbell.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
Clausen if he's there without having to trading up. If not, take Okung and then another OL (Black from LSU?) in the second. QB will have to come through FA / trade until 2011.

I watched the DVR of the first half of the Eagles last night. First impressions of the first half are that the talent of the OL isn't as much of a problem as the communication and blitz pick-ups. The RBs are at fault too for not picking up free A-gap blitzing LBs. I really think this line shuffling has a lot to do with the problems up front.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
Thank you so much dude!! JC has sucked for the most part of his career and I doubt he will ever start in this league again unless it's Cleveland or something. We just need a new beginning and it's time for JC to go.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
I agree and disagree at the same time. JC is not starter caliber, but we will need him in an emergency role. Collins will probably retire after this season or will be shown the door. You do need a vet to back you up if the rook or newbie struggles.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
AMEN! He hides his ineptitude in decent looking stats. We all blame his lack of time in the pocket, but fact is, he isn't ALWAYS on his ass. He has been sacked more this year than in previous years (20 times in 7 games), but that's just under 3 times a game. Some of which were his fault. He needs to be decisive and when you have a 3 step drop, let the ball fly. Don't overthrow wide open receivers downfield either! Sure he hasn't had all day to pick apart defenses, but even if he did, we'd only see slightly better stats from him. He's at his very best right now, and will never get better. He'll make a decent backup for someone else some day...but a back up is the best he will be.
