Re: Your next QB for the Skins?

Well we don't have a 3rd rounder due to the Jarmon pick in the Supplemental draft. I'd like Bradford, McCoy, Locker, or even Clausen. Not sold on Pike's intangibles and the fact that he once became disinterested in football. That factor there would have him lose a tiebreaker to the aforementioned.

We desperately need to address the O-Line. Hopefully there is a new regime in place to make the decision on which direction to go at QB.

If O-Line is addressed in the early rounds, Personally, I'd try to decide on the best young vet to give a second chance to while rebuilding. Those that come to mind are: (R. Grossman, K. Clemens, K. Boller, T. Jackson, D. Carr, J. Harrington). All are 2010 free agents and I'd bet that one of these current busts turns out to have a decent career. The task will be for the GM to identify which one. Lets pray that Vinny is not making this decision.

If we draft a QB in round 1, we should attempt to sign an older vet, perhaps Charlie Batch or Jeff Garcia, depending which one fits the new coach's scheme.

Also, all of the Colt Brennan apologists on this thread need to relax. Once we get a real coach in here Brennan will be released or beat out in camp. I have inside information that informed me that ONE of the FEW reasons Brennen was kept was the fact that his Jersey sales were much more favorable to Chase Daniel's.

And yes that same person also told me that the sales had something to do with how female skins fans feel about Brennan's looks. This is a FOOTBALL TEAM not a FASHION MAGAZINE!

Can't wait till the offseason! I truly believe that the owner will wise up and get some real people to run this team.

Yes, i think the owner will wise up too. This is the first year i've thought that too. There's just too much pressure coming from the outside.

Those looking for a one year turn around are going to be disappointed. There are just too many holes. I mean, we are talking 2 or 3 full drafts or more to revamp this team and get some talent. Not, VC drafts either...good drafts. Hopefully our new FO can improve this area.

We're looking at QB, 2 RB's, 2-3 OL, CB, WR-maybe. I wouldn't be opposed to a stop gap QB or JC while rebuilding.

I hope your right but what if there's no cap next year? I would have to think Snyder would try to buy a S.B one last time before he gives into the reality that he needs to hire a real G.M.

If the year is capless, there likely will actually be fewer free agents. Some people see it as a potential free-for-all but likely it will be the opposite.

Well then, that opens the trade market.
