Why waste the time with the headache of a people shuffle, just moving the problem. Just to be clear I see Vinny being FIRED and completely gone from the Redskins organization.
I think there will be just as much angst if they reassign him. Don't get me wrong, I'm never cheering for someone to lose his/her job, and I wish Vinny well wherever he ends up.

Keeping him, in any capacity, would just continue to be a sore reminder of what has gone wrong and ultimately become a media distraction.

I don't think the fuhrer will fire him. I think he will just be 'retitled' to a different position.

Like Tryfuhl said, as long as he's not actively involved in football operations, I couldn't care less if he's here or not. Make him VP of Jock Strap Odor Detection, you'll get no complaints from me.

The way things are going in the NFL, I think several of the current TV commentators will be back with teams in active service as either coaches or managers. That'll leave plenty of room for poor ole Vinny to land a TV gig....don't feel sorry for the guy.

Vinny has no power without Danny's backing, I think

He could keep the title, they could bring in a GM with autonomy.. and everything would be all honky dory in Redskins land for Vinny

DBUCHANON101 im not sure what u meant by that last comment but if ur implying that u will no longer be a fan, let it be known that u will never be considered a fan ever again..............ever. WHEN the skins finally do get better, (because every sports franchise has its good and bad moments) all the true fans will be relieved that they stuck with the team thru thick and thin, but u will not. If of course that is what u are implying. If im am judging u wrong please correct me

You are right. I wonder what Vinny would do though because Lord knows he doesnt have a face for TV, unless you count that movie he starred in in the 1980's...
