Re: How to stop smoking?

You have gotten good advice.
I quit using the patch...it works. It makes it....bearable. After three weeks, I quit the patch. Never looked back. HOWEVER, I still enjoy the smell of someone else burnin' one. I smoked two packs a day and quit 12 years ago. You will feel significantly better IMMEDIATELY.
Break the old habits, coffee, booze, daily use of prostitutes, etc
Good Luck!

Thank you and to everyone else that has offered positive feedback about kicking the habit. Those were some nasty pictures Saden, but effective.

I haven't smoked today and I had only two yesterday. When I was in the service, I only smoke one a day. The difference between then and now is about 6-3 miles every other day. With that said, I think I'm going to start jogging across the Manchester Bridge on my lunch break.

My people bought two boxes of patches. If they want to use them then that's cool. I can't stand drugs. My smoke buddies is going nuts, poor bastard. He's trying to quit too.

Richmond is probably the hardest city in the US to quit smoking in. Good luck man!

Ok. I know I should quit but I don't think I'm ready. Is that bad?

If you're not ready, you're not ready. I'm sick and tired of it. Right now I'm not dating. When I do start again, I'll have more women to choose from. A lot of gals will not date a smoker.
