Re: Our 2010 First Round Draft Pick Should Be...
Yeah whatever?! It's effing November and we're talking about the draft already.
![]() I ask myself, "Self, should I give a damn?" The reply, "Not really. That fool Al Synderato doesn't know how to draft offensive linemen, or he'd done it already!" Insert any QB and watch him get CRUSHED! Cutler'd = CRUSHED Snachez = CRUSHED Bradford = CRUSHED Clausen = CRUSHED Snead = CRUSHED Tebow, I really hate to think of such a good guy getting . . . .CRUSHED after he gets drafted by the Redskins. I was so pissed after the draft last year. There's no way I'm doing that again. So here we are talking about Brandon Spikes, Tim Tebow, or whatever WR / CB they have down in Florida. Here we are talking about college guys that don't play on the O-line. How about some Trent Williams, Russell Okung, or even Kyle Calloway? How about Mike Johnson, John Perry, or Mike Iupati? Our offensive line is trash. Derrick Dockery gets cut by the Bills and dumb ass Vinny throws money at him? Raback was washed up last year. Everyone who watched Shaun Roberts beat his head in knew that. The rest of these guys should be washing dishes somewhere. :frusty: Naw, get me a QB, a ILB, a CB, or a TE/FB. That's what we need to go the distance baby! What a crock! :vomit:

But as far as the draft, none of these kids are anything but potential. The potential for a stud 1st round LT prospect starting and succeeding quickly is quite a bit higher than the crap shoot that is drafting a top QB prospect. With Samuels now done, it's arguable that we have the worst tackle situation in football. We can't neglect that any further. Even if Campbell is the QB next year (unlikely), I doubt he gets worse with more protection.

Re: Our 2010 First Round Draft Pick Should Be...
No I was just posting it so we could see how LT are gotten across the league. I did not realize how many came from later rounds. I was making no statement other than post the research that I did for my own knowledge.

Re: Our 2010 First Round Draft Pick Should Be...
Its straight foward, OT & QB need to be drafted early in 2010....best possible solution because there are several QB's and very few OT studs....Draft the best OT avaliable with the 1st pick.....Trade the 1st round 2011 pick to draft QB in the 1st round as well....In the second round there are 2 top tier OG's grab one quickly......
OLB,RB,KR/WR...rounds 4-5-7 |
