I think it would be preferable to the draft because you can get the same first round talent you'd get in the draft without giving up a first or second round pick. You could possibly even trade Campbell as part of the package without giving up picks.

It's a little weird that Campbell has the second most trade value on our team (behind only Landry) of anyone when we don't even want him, but so it is.
