That's the reason for the lack of discipline & conflicts. The players know the HC isnt in charge and has no power so they know they can do what they want without repurcussions, as long as they are buddies with DS. I think that is part of it, but the other part is that Zorn let way to much time go by before he took any responsibility, publicly, for the teams performance. Blanche finally had to do it before Zorn got a clue. Constantly calling out players for "not executing" and not putting the blame on your self (like Gibbs did) wore on the players. It had to, it wore on me. If you can't criticize yourself, you shouldn't criticize your players... unless you have earned the right by consistenly winning.
