Joe Montana. He was so cool that on the field for the last drive to beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl, he took the time to point out to a teammate where John Candy was sitting in the stands!

Montana. The guy had ice water flowing through his veins. I have never seen a 5ft something QB so cool with guys diving at him. Protecting the QB was not the referee's job so much back then either.
Elway was great, but had that thin air at Mile high stadium that would suck the life out off the opposing d all game long. He had a little home field advantage that would show up at the end of the game.
