re: The D. Hall incident
Does anyone ever wonder why it's always the same guys? Excuses are limited when the same people repeatedly make the same critical mistakes with what they call an explination. There's fourty eight other players on this team that something like what happened yesterday would never happen with.
I've said before, discipline is a serious issue with this team. |

re: The D. Hall incident
I think Hall might have a legit gripe about what went on there. Smith and the strength coach had no business getting involved like that.

re: The D. Hall incident
It looks like both the ATL staff and Hall overreacted. Still, this shouldn't have happened if Landry had acted right.

You might want to say the same thing about Hall, he had no business leaving the playing field and getting involved in a sideline dispute that didn't origionally involve him. I'm trying hard to see where/why he's exempt from blame. |

Hall had no right to be on the Falcons sideline, not after Ryan AND Landry walked off the sideline together before the melee started.

Dude give me a break, let's not act like the Falcon's sideline acted like a bunch of choir boys.

They didn't they acted like a punk walked onto THEIR sideline and started to talk shit. I realize you all only have a few games worth of the DHall knowledge to work with, but defending him will only make you second guess yourself later on. There's a reason even the RAIDERS didn't want him on their team.. he's a punk.

re: The D. Hall incident
I think that you guys are way to harsh on Hall. In fact this should be locked or at least the title changed. Players get into fights. Coaches dont. Hall has done better than I thought. He is not supposed to be a run stopper. Thats what Landry is for. Deon Sanders, one of the best corners of all time, never was able to tackle anyone. At least Hall is not afraid to try. He does the best he can. As far as him giving up big pass plays he seems to me to be doing pretty good. I think if you want to complain keep it to Landry.

re: The D. Hall incident
The hit OB was late but it didn't warrant a bench clearing brawl like that, the ATL bench has to have some responsibility in all of this.

Well lucky for them Hall was involved, so no one will hold them accountable.

re: The D. Hall incident
Well when you hitting their franchise QB three yards out of bounds one could argue they are backing their QB. I don't think I would have a problem if one of our players went after someone who made a late hit like that.

re: The D. Hall incident
I didn't think the hit was even that bad. We saw one of our guys get slammed out of bounds a few weeks ago and no flag was even thrown.

Landry launched right as Ryan was pulling up and about to step out, what makes it so bad is that if Landry had just changed his angle and launched a second sooner, it would have been a clean hit. Instead he was a second late, and on the wrong angle and hit Ryan out of bounds. It happens, you get a penalty and move on, there was no need for the ATL bench to clear and mob Hall. |

re: The D. Hall incident
funny how NOBODY went anywhere near Landry (who made the hit) and instead targeted D. Hall. Hall must have been over there talkin' smack. Matt Ryan went back on the field right next to Landry and they seemed ok with each other. My point being, the late hit, and the ensuing scuffle seemed almost like 2 seperate issues.
