Smoot is looking for big time money and I don't blame him, but the team can't afford to tie up mega bucks at the corner position, not when other key guys need to be re-signed as well like Pierce. My gut feeling is the decision has been made to start Harris next year along with Springs. Williams really likes the younger guys too like Wilds, and perhaps they'll pick up a cheap free agent corner to back up Harris. |
