Re: Steelers GM
I wish we could have a GM like the steelers GM, but the thing is seeing how smart he is, he would be smart by not taking the job here

Re: Steelers GM
Actually, I think any smart GM would love to work for Snyder.. ONLY IF Snyder learns his lessons and agree to surrender all authorities to GM or president office.. Snyder is willing to do ANYTHING to get Redskins, this includes shelling out millions of dollars.. Any GM would love that..

Re: Steelers GM
Monday Night Football ran a stat the other night which said that Ben Roethlisberger has been the most sacked quarterback in the NFL over the past few years. Plus, they haven't been running the ball as effectively either. I guess with a world-class defense and a QB that can make plays, you can compensate for a less than great front line. The Steelers have some good receivers too.
Haven't they lost some starting O-linemen to free agency recently? |

In contrast, the "Snyder philosophy" is to delay a player's escalating cap figure by renegotiating the contract , even when that player might have only one serviceable season left. This is why the Redskins are among the worst offenders of carrying a large "dead" cap total for players no longer on the team. As an example, B. Lloyd is still counting $5M against this year's cap. Jon Jansen is even more. We are carrying about $18M in dead cap this season. I want to see a more patient philosophy to build a consistent winner through the draft (cheap talent). I also want to see some players sent packing rather than renegotiating and delaying their cap hit to when they are no longer even useful. |

Re: Steelers GM
Good call. And their entire team for that matter. They could take most of our players and turn them into serious ballers. They absorb players into their system and get max production. Kind of how the Skins did in the 80s. When players left the Skins, they were never the same.
