New Helmet Idea

I had been under the impression that the name "Redskin" was a racist term, meaning the scalp of a dead Native American or something like that...

Now what about the logo itself is racist? Its just a face with feathers. What's racist about that? The fact that the face isn't white? hmm...

And yeah that "fashionable" helmet just looks stupid. Something like the spear from the 60's or maybe a new spin on that would be something I might be in favor of.

The current helmet logo I think is one of the best in the league. The logo it self is that of an indian war drum with the likeness of an indian on the side. It is one of those traditional logos that shouldn't be changed along with the Bears and Packers, IMO.

Yeah, exactly. Why is a picture of an indian racist?

If an artist paints a picture of a indian, is that inherently racist? Why?
