me too thats why i have that spear but with the current feathers as a tattoo, as a personal touch i have burgundy and gold drops of "blood" dripping off the tip of the spear

I've tried to copy and paste the old feather used from 1959-1964, but have been unable to do so, so here is the link.

The purpose of the feather is the same as a ball cap bill, it was to shield the eyes from the sun.

A little tweak by Summo maybe would help it, but I like it better than the spear, or the R, or the current logo. Maybe on a Gold background as an alternative.

My least fav is the R.

This and the one before that one with the feather down the middle are nice. Why try to fix something if it aint broke. Just look back to 1982.

Well if your the artist, I dont see any one putting up a fight if your willing to make us a new logo.

I'm a big fan of this Redskins logo. I could understand doing a more "updated" version of this particular one, but the suggest one just plain out sucks! I personally am not a fan of changing our current logo whatsoever, but if we had to, go back to the spear 'n feather.
